The Nib Rot collective of cartoonists Rimki (Champaign, IL), Ryan Edge (Seattle, WA), and Scott Witmer (Ann Arbor, MI) publish comics at Rimki Comix and Fog Count. The first Nib Rot comics anthology, published in 2025, includes drawings by William Crook Jr and Paul Nudd.

I spent yesterday in Lansing for LICZ, which turned out to be my best fest yet in terms of foot traffic and sales. I sold out of UP and launched the freshly printed Adjuster n.1. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by the table to chat and flip through the comics! It was a fantastic event!
Now that UP is out-of-print, I can reveal the secret stamp: If anyone asked me to sign the comic, I would draw a pasty on a specially printed stamp and stick it to the designated spot on the inside back cover. Only two copies of UP currently have this stamp, but the offer still stands: If you got UP and bring your copy to a future event where I'm tabling, I will draw you a pasty stamp.

2026-Apr-13Lansing Independent Comics & Zine Fest (LICZ) is this Saturday, April 18! I'll be hanging out at the Nib Rot table with copies of Nib Rot, both issues of Rimki Comix, a few remaining copies of the UP minicomic, and a brand new mini, Adjuster n.1.
Adjuster is an ongoing experimental zine. The first issue includes sketchbook drawings of singers, which became a recurring motif for some reason. It also includes two short dream comics, Barefoot Omen and Mall Bar. I welcome interpretations, as well as feedback in general. If you get a copy of Adjuster at LICZ and mention that you heard about it from this site, I'll throw in a free sticker printed exclusively for the event.
